Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Officer at Holutosine Nigeria Enterprises Limited to oversee and manage the logistics, quality assurance, packaging, warehouse operations, and exportation processes of our agro commodities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth supply chain operations while maintaining the highest quality standards for our products.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Plan and coordinate the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery.
  • Work with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations.
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to inspect and verify the quality of supplied goods.
  • Ensure all sourced and processed commodities meet regulatory standards and company quality specifications.
  • Implement quality control measures to minimize wastage and maximize efficiency.
Exportation & Regulatory Compliance
  • Oversee export operations, ensuring adherence to customs regulations and trade policies.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to secure necessary certifications and approvals for export.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all exported goods.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
  • Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage optimization, and stock movement.
  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling of goods to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Maintain an updated inventory database and generate reports on stock levels and movement.
  • Maintain company resources and equipment like invoices, waybill, vest, caps etc.
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in the agricultural or food industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, and exportation processes.
  • Experience working with quality assurance teams and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good communication and leadership skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
